The Sky Garden

Where do you always hangout? At the bars, resto's,coffee shops or malls. Have you experienced doing all of those in one place? Maybe, maybe not. But i did, because of the place called "The Sky Garden". We discovered it way back when it is still under construction and we finally tried it last October of 09. It is located at the garden of SM North EDSA. It offers lots of restaurants, bar and grills and your favorite coffee shop. We dine at "Marina" that night, but that is another story my friend. View tons of photo's after the jump.

My Gf had a convention at Hyatt Regency Hotel in Roxas Blvd for her company. After the convention they went to Yakimix an eat all you can, drink all you can Japanese restaurant which is located at Hobbies of Asia, Macapagal Blvd. Pasay City. She told me that it was a great spacious ambiance, lots of Asian cuisines you can choose from, the different kinds of Sushi and Maki are there, Lots of desserts like pastries, cakes and ice cream. And the best part is that grill all of the fresh seafoods just right on your table. For a moment she forgot that she was on a diet, i think she only intended to forget so that she can eat all what she want, hehe. She told me we should go there together, and we did! Mouth watering ha? Well, thats her experience. I will tell you mine soon. Loads of Photo's after the jump.

Lydia's Lechon

To all the balikbayan's out there if you happen to arrive or to depart at Ninoy Aquino International Airport you might want to eat a Lechon first and dine-in at Lydia's Lechon it is located at 551 Service Road, Roxas Blvd. Baclaran, ParaƱaque City.

Lechon is the Spanish name for pig, in the Philippines it means a spit-roasted pig. Lechon (in Tagalog litson) is a roasted whole pig cooked in charcoal. Lechon is prepared by stuffing the inside of the animal with herbs and vegetables. The pigs are slowly hand roasted on top of charcoal for hours till their skin turn reddish brown and the inside flesh becomes tender. The dish is often served with a thick liver sauce cooked with vinegar, sugar and herbs.

Anyways here are some photo's taken at Lydia's Lechon Restaurant. A Lechon, Creamy Chicken Mushroom and a free Bulalo soup is our menu for that night. The Lechon costs 700 Pesos/Kilo at Lydia's Lechon not cheap but worth it. If your looking for a cheaper price of Lechon go to Telabastagan, Sn. Fernando Pampanga you'll find them there.
